Roxanne Scott

Roxanne Scott is an Associate Attorney at Irish MacLeod Inc with a primary focus on entertainment matters. Roxanne started her career at a top international corporate and commercial law firm in Sandton where she practiced in the areas of commercial law, dispute resolution, life sciences and project finance. Roxanne completed her studies at the University of Pretoria, where she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree, as well as a Bachelor of Law with distinction and Master of Law in Contract with distinction. During her time at university, she served as an academic associate in the department of private law and the department of intellectual property law.

After making a move to Cape Town in 2023, Roxanne joined Irish MacLeod Inc and has since acted as production counsel to production companies for major Hollywood films. Roxanne assists on all aspects of production on local and foreign film and television projects, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating production services agreements and various production legal contracts. Roxanne also assists production companies with intellectual property rights clearances for film and television productions for the purpose of errors and omission insurance.
